# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 325°F.
02 - Pat the chuck roast dry using paper towels and place it in a Dutch oven or roasting pan with a tight-fitting lid.
03 - Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the top of the roast.
04 - Pour the beef broth around the roast, avoiding pouring directly over to keep seasoning in place.
05 - Cover tightly with the lid or aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 3 hours, until fork-tender.
06 - Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing or shredding to serve with pan juices.
